How to Apply
The first questions most people ask, are "Am I qualified" and "How do I apply?" The information below should help you to better understand if you qualify for our program. You can also click here to read the Information Booklet.
Who can apply for training?
Are you wanting a change? Are you coachable? Are you willing and able to begin training, then we’re looking for you!
Basic Eligibility:
- 18 years or older
- Permanent residency or Canadian citizen
- ESL benchmark of 8
A training allowance may also be available through Federal or Provincial funding. Information on funding and program eligibility can be viewed here.
How do I apply?
If you are interested in career in carpentry, and are commited to attending a 16 week program then apply now! Please email recruiter@ywcaofcalgary.com or call 403.705.7526 to begin the application process by attending an information session.
