Take action – Volunteer with the YWCA of Calgary!
Every year over 700 Calgarians donate over 7,900 hours of their time as well as their expertise to the YWCA of Calgary.

Day of Caring
If you and your co-workers want to give back, or you want an innovative team building experience, consider taking part in one of our Days of Caring. This is when a company team donates a day of volunteer time to help with a variety of different tasks at one of our three sites.
Examples of past Days of Caring have included:
- Painting (bedrooms, livingrooms, offices, common areas, etc.)
- Cooking meals for our residents and their children
- Spring and Fall Cleaning
- Landscaping and outdoor cleanup
- Special projects
- Annual Food and Hygiene Drives
- Come up with your own!
